Our innovative design features a unique lounging area for your funeral clients to grieve in together safely without having to drive. A dividing wall separates the passenger area from the casket compartment in the rear of the vehicle which aids in efficiency for your funeral home and lessens worry for your patrons. With several floor plans and numerous options available, TESCO’s exclusive Family Coach® vehicle will help set your funeral home or livery service apart from the rest.
The numerous features that the Family Coach® has to offer accommodate customization to fit your funeral home’s specific usages and needs. The interior of the Family Coach® is highly customizable as it is available in a variety of color configurations, equipped to play DVDs and music, and can provide refreshments. The exterior of the vehicle is available in silver, black, white, or a custom color of choice. The Family Coach® is built using the Federal Coach body on a Ford E450, 14,500 lb GVWR, chassis and is available with either the Ford 6.8L or 5.4L gas engine. Most floor plans are designed to transport fifteen passengers but do not require a CDL (commercial driver’s license).
Because the Family Coach® is highly versatile, there are additional uses for the vehicle. The Family Coach® can be optionally used as a dual purpose vehicle. A hearse during the day, with the potential of a revenue-generating shuttle service during the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This makes the Family Coach® two vehicles in one for nearly the same price as a funeral coach. Better resale value is placed on the vehicle as well due to its ability to handle multiple functions.
